This image shows a customer on-premises private network and an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region. Within the a customer on-premises private network, the customer's on-premises application communicates bidirectionally with customer-provided equipment (CPE), which is on a public IP. This equipment communicates with the OCI region over FastConnect, which directs traffic through a dynamic routing gateway (DRG) into the customer's OCI virtual cloud network (VCN). Data is then passed through a service gateway on the customer's OCI VCN, via the OCI networking fabric to a SaaS public endpoint, on a public IP, in the Oracle Utilities Cloud Service VCN.
