Description of the Illustration architecture-adw-power-bi-analytics.png
The diagram illustrates how data originates from one or more database sources, is transformed using Oracle GoldenGate, is stored in an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, and then is available for analysis using third-party analytics engines, such as Power BI Desktop.
-
The central figure shows an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region with a single availability domain and a virtual cloud network (VCN) that contains a private subnet. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure also handles access and ID management.
-
The private subnet includes a security list, a compute instance with Oracle GoldenGate and an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse instance with a private endpoint.
-
The VCN includes the private subnet, a routing table, and a dynamic routing gateway (DRG).
-
A customer data center is shown outside of the Oracle Cloud and connects to the Oracle Cloud using either a VPN or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect through the dynamic routing gateway.
- Power BI Desktop is also shown connected to the Oracle Cloud through the dynamic routing gateway.
