The diagram illustrates how data is moved from flat-file sources into staged storage, from staged storage into a data warehouse, and then into Oracle Analytics Desktop for local analysis.

• The central figure is a box representing Oracle Cloud. Within the box, two services are shown within a box labeled Oracle Manged Services. They are labeled Object Storage and ADW (representing Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse).

• A customer data center is shown in the upper left, outside of the Oracle Cloud box. The data center connects to the Oracle Cloud using either a VPN or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect through a dynamic routing gateway.

• A directional line shows flat-file data moving from the data center into object storage. Another directional line shows the data moving from object storage into the data warehouse using automation.

• Oracle Analytics Desktop is shown in the lower left and connects to the Oracle Cloud using SSL through an internet gateway.

• A bidirectional line shows data moving between the desktop and the data warehouse.
