This diagram shows the movement of data at a conceptual level. The image is divided into two layers: Manage, and Exploit.

In the Manage layer, there are three primary blocks: Event Engine, Application Data, and Analytical Platform which houses icons for Data Refinery, Raw Data and Curated Data and Information.

• Event Engine: A monodirectional arrow labeled Streams enters the event engine from a source outside the image. A directional arrow labeled Events connects the event engine to the data refinery in the analytical platform block. A monodirectional arrow labeled Actionable Events connects the event engine block to the Exploit layer.

• Application Data: A directional arrow labeled Interactions connects the application data block to the analytical platform block.

• Analytical Platform: directional arrow labeled Actionable Insights connects the analytical platform block to the Exploit layer.
