The Oracle managed infrastructure contains Lustre components such as MGT, MGS, OSS, and OST. These components all scale out meta data size and performance. Using a VNIC attachment, these components also connect to a subnet within the customer managed infrastructure.

The customer managed infrastructure area contains a VCN and a subnet. There are Lustre clients in the customer managed infrastructure which connect to the subnet using a VNIC attachment.
