This image shows an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region with a single availability domain and 3 fault domains. The region provides a virtual cloud network (VCN) with an internet gateway and two public subnets, A and B. Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing is hosted in the same region and availability domain.
A Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Container Engine for Kubernetes cluster spans all fault domains in subnet B.
The VCN provides the following subnets:
- Subnet A: A load balancer manages traffic from end users to worker nodes in subnet B.
-
Subnet B: A worker node virtual machine resides in each of the three fault domains. The application stores relational data in an Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing database.
