This image shows an Oracle Cloud region. The region contains a Virtual Cloud Network (VCN).
The Cloud Region also contains three availability domains (AD), labeled AD1, AD2, and AD2. The VCN is divided into two subnets,
one public (labeled Public Subnet (10.0.1.0/24)) and one private (labeled Private Subnet (10.0.2.0/24).
- Public Subnet (10.0.1.0/24) contains in AD1 an active load balancer and, in AD2 a standby load balancer. These load balancers
are connected to indicate failover architecture.
- Private Subnet (10.0.2.0/24) contains a web server in each AD, labeled VM1, VM2, and VM3. These VMs are connected unidirectionally
to the active load balancer in the AD1 public subnet.
A Dynamic Routing Gateway connects the VCN bidirectionally, through VPN/FastConnect, to the customer's data center.
