This image shows an OCI region connected to a generic on-premises infrastructure. The OCIO region contains an APM domain and a Application Performance Monitoring instance. The on-premises infrastructure contains a private network, which itself contains the application deployment consisting of an OPVP setup omprising two OPVP workers, Worker 1 and Worker 2. These workers are connect to components outside to the OPVP setup but still within the application deployment, worker 1 to a client, worker 2 to an application.

The OCI region is connected to the on-premises infrastructure over the internet, via either a secure or unsecured HTTP connection. Callouts A and B are described in the surroundig text. Traffic is directed from one of the OPVP workers through a firewall, over the internet to the APM domain in the OCI region.
