The image shows the basic configuration of resources employed when using Oracle
Visual Builder Studio to develop a web application.
The diagram comprises a collection of common and shared resources and an array of Oracle
Service Network services. The common and shared resources are divided into five groups:
project management, Visual Builder Studio, development, integration/QA, and production.
- Project management contains tasks and an Agile process.
- Visual Builder Studio is where coding, versioning, builds, and release
management occur and contains:
- A code review process
- A Git repository
- Three instances of Visual Builder Cloud Service combined with a CI/CD
pipeline
Development, integration/QA, and production each contain one stateless VM and one
serverless instance, the type of which depends on the process:
- Development hosts serverless Events
- Integration/QA hosts serverless Containers
- Production hosts serverless Functions
Traffic is directed from VB Studio's code review to the Git repository, where it
can be distributed to one of the VBCS/CI/CD pipeline instances. One of these instances
will direct traffic to the development process, one to the integration/QA process, and
one to the production process.
