The image shows the various Oracle Database Cloud Services options with an On-Premises region and an OCI Region connected using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect with CPS on the On-Premises region and DRG on the OCI Region. The components are desscribed in the surrounding text.

The On-Premises region includes a Backup Destination and VMware.

VMware hosts the Application which connects to the Oracle Database, and Oracle Zero Downtime Migration Service host. Oracle Database connects with an arrow to the Backup server.

The OCI Region hosts an Availability Domain and OCI Managed Services.

The OCI Managed Services include OCI Vault, Oracle Autonomous Database Serverless, Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service, and OCI Object Storage.

The Availability Domain hosts a VCN with a Service Gateway and three subnets: Application subnet, Database client subnet, and Database backup subnet.

• The Application subnet hosts the Application on OCI Compute VM.

• The Database client subnet hosts Oracle Base Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database Serverless.

• Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure, Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure are shared between the Database backup and clinet subnets.
