This image shows an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region that includes the following services:

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Service Connector Hub

The region includes a single virtual cloud network (VCN) with a regional subnet. A user group lies outside the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region.

This image shows the following work flow:

1. The user group uploads an image to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage.
2. The change in object storage triggers the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events service.
3. The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events service invokes functions in Oracle Functions within the VCN regional subnet.
4. The functions extract the metadata from the uploaded image and store the metadata with the image data in object storage using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Service Connector Hub.
