This chart show the number of active data source connections (average) for each server. One server is always collocated with the database (site1), and the other server is at different latency values from the database (site2)

The y-axis shows the average SOA data source (SOADS) active connections per server. The x-axis shows round-trip time (RTT) in ms.

Site1 stays nearly constant across the RTT range, holding about the same average active connections per server (approximately 20).

Site2 starts near the Site1 level, then increases steadily as RTT increases, ending with substantially more average active connections per server (approximately 42).
