The image shows an OCI region, an AI portfolio, and users and applications outside of OCI accessing resources within the OCI region.
Users and applications on the internet access the OCI region using an internet gateway. Users and applications on the internet are using these applications:
The traffic is routed through the internet gateway, into an OCI VCN, into a public subnet to OCI API Gateway.
Custom apps coming from on-premises, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud use their respective connection methods (FastConnect, Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud) to communicate into the OCI VCN, into a private subnet with OCI API Gateway.
The public subnet traffic from the OCI API Gateway is routed either through a NAT gateway, or service gateway. The NAT gateway traffic connects to third-party AI model services such as MetaAI, OpenAI, or Gemini. Whereas the service gateway traffic is routed to either Oracle Integration, or OCI Functions.
The OCI region has an Oracle Services Network which contains the following services:
The AI portfolio contains the following OCI AI services:
