The image shows a Microsoft Azure region (primary) and OCI region.

The Azure region contains an Azure Virtual Network (VNet) and OCI child site.

The Azure Virtual Network contains an Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) subnet and client subnet delegated.

A DNS outside of the Azure region sends traffic to a load balancer within the AKS subnet. Traffic flows from the load balancer to the AKS service, before being sent to a virtual network interface card in the client subnet delegated.

The OCI child site contains an OCI managed network. Inside the OCI managed network is a customer tenancy, tenancy, and OCI managed tenancy.

The customer tenancy contains a primary virtual cloud network, client subnet, and backup subnet. The client and backup subnets are equipped with security lists and route tables. Oracle Exadata Database Service is contained within the client and backup subnets.

Oracle Exadata Database Service connects to an OCI Private Endpoint IP within the tenancy. Automatic backups are then backed up to Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service within an Azure region or OCI region. The OCI managed services area also contains a control plane.
