Configure the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter

When you drag the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter into the trigger and invoke areas of an integration, the Oracle Cloud ERP Endpoint Configuration wizard opens. The wizard guides you through configuration of the Oracle Cloud ERP endpoint properties.

Configure the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter

Use the Oracle Cloud ERP Configure Oracle ERP Cloud Endpoint wizard to configure the adapter.

To configure the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter, you need the serviceCatalog WSDL.

To configure the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter at design time:

  1. In the Configure Oracle ERP Cloud Endpoint configuration wizard, enter Basic Info. Give your endpoint a name, such as InvokeERP. Optionally, enter a description. In What actions would you want to perform on this endpoint?, select Import Data into Financials Cloud Application. Click Next.
  2. In the Operations step of the wizard, enter the Import Job Name import Journal. Give the job a description, such as "Imports journals." Click Next.
  3. In the Response step of the wizard, enter Callback information for the response to the data upload. Enter Integration Flow Identifier as the identifier for the callback Oracle Integration flow. For the Integration Flow Version, enter 01.
Enter the identifier, such as JOURN_3_CALLB_FUSIO_TO_ICS, and not the name of the integration flow. The callback Oracle Integration must exist in the same Oracle Integration instance as the originating data.

Configure the Oracle Cloud ERP Adapter for Callback

Configure an Oracle Cloud ERP endpoint to receive the callback from Oracle Cloud ERP.

In this Oracle Integration flow, a callback from Oracle Cloud ERP is received. It is possible to receive a callback on SUCCESS, ERROR, or BOTH.

The flow is triggered when Oracle Cloud ERP asynchronously calls back Oracle Integration. Configure the callback when you configure the ERP adapter to invoke.

  1. In the Basic Info step, specify a name, description, and select Import Data into Financials Cloud Application to be part of a scenario for loading and orchestrating data from a secure FTP location to Oracle Cloud ERP.
  2. In the Trigger Request properties, set the following values:
    1. Configure a Request to As a Callback.
    2. Download Options to Always.
  3. In the Trigger Response properties, do the following:
    1. Set Response Type to Delayed.
    2. Select a business object.
    3. Select the type of callback to configure: Successful Response, Failed Response, or both.
    4. Select the operation to perform on the business object.
The screen will show the current state of the selected business document (Active or Deprecated) along with its name and description.

Select the business object to receive from the Oracle Cloud ERP application as a response. A description of the selected business object is displayed below this list.

A Successful Response is used to configure the operation and business objects that you want the Oracle Cloud ERP application to process as part of a successful callback response sent by the integration. A Failed Response is used to configure the operation and business objects that you want the Oracle Cloud ERP application to process as part of a failed callback response sent by the integration.

  4. Continue with the wizard to set up the invoke operation and invoke response properties according to your business needs. Verify your configuration values on the summary screen. Click Done to save your configuration.
