Prepare to Set Up a Connection Between Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure

To set up a cross-cloud solution between Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure, you must fulfill the following prerequisites:

  • A Microsoft Azure virtual network with subnets and a virtual network gateway.
  • An Oracle Cloud Infrastructure VCN with subnets and an attached DRG.
  • No overlapping IP addresses between the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure VCN and the Microsoft Azure.

After completing these prerequisites, proceed to create an ExpressRoute circuit in Microsoft Azure and an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect virtual circuit. For the ExpressRoute circuit, select Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as the provider. And for the FastConnect circuit, select Microsoft Azure as the provider. For detailed instructions, see the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect documentation.
