The image is an architecture diagram that shows layout and relationship between the tiers created in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The illustration consists of two vertical rectangles nested within one another. The outermost rectangle is labeled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Region). The rectangle within it is labeled Availability Domain 1.There are four horizontal rectangles within Availability Domain 1 representing compartment tiers. The tiers are labeled Bastion Subnet A, File Manager Subnet B, Application Server Subnet C, and Database Tier Subnet E.

The architecture consists of a virtual cloud network within an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region. The region is connected to the Internet, the customer's existing network, and a web client. Within the VCN, there are two virtually identical availability domains. The VCN is linked to the region via an Internet gateway, and a dynamic routing gateway, which ensures the connectivity of the availability domains. Each availability domain contains a bastion and load balancer.

More information on the tiers represented in this illustration is in the text that follows this image.
