This image shows a multinode WordPress architecture and components in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region. The region has three availability domains. Availability Domain 1 has three fault domains. A VCN has a NAT Gateway and an Internet Gateway connecting the VCN to the Internet.
Within the VCN are 3 private subnets, and 2 public subnets with the following components:
- Private subnet 10.0.3.0/24 has a Oracle MySQL Database Service Primary in Fault Domain 1, and a Secondary in Fault Domain 2 and Fault Domain 3. The Primary fails over to Fault Domain 2 and Fault Domain 3. The subnet has Security Lists.
- Private subnet 10.0.4./24 has File Storage (NFS). Information flows from NFS to each WordPress nodes in the third private subnet. The subnet has Security Lists and NSG.
- Private subnet 10.0.5./24 has a WordPress node in each fault domain. The subnet has Security Lists.
- Public subnet 10.0.1.0/24 has a primary load balancer in Fault Domain 1 and a standby load balancer in Fault Domain 2. The subnet has Security Lists.
- Public subnet 10.0.2./24 has a bastion VM in Fault Domain 2. The subnet has Security Lists.
