The image shows the Liveplex platform architecture on Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI).
Users are authenticated by using the customers' Web 2.0 infrastructure before accessing the Liveplex platform.
The OCI region provides 2 availability domains and 1 virtual cloud network (VCN). The region provides the following general
services:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Monitoring
- Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure Object Storage
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Vault
- Oracle Content Management
- Oracle Key Management Cloud
Service
- Oracle
Analytics Cloud
The region also provides a multiregion
Oracle Blockchain
Platform and the Liveplex API which comprises:
- Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure API Gateway
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Functions
The VCN provides the following gateways.
- Internet gateway: Provides communications between public subnets and internet hosts. RDP traffic uses the internet gateway.
In this architecture, incoming traffic is passed to a load balancer.
- Service gateway: VCNs communicate with services in the Oracle Services Network (OSN) such as object storage over the Oracle
network fabric without traversing the internet.
The VCN also 4 private subnets, each with their own security list and route table:
- Front end private subnet: Provides an active load balancer in availability domain 1 and a standby load balancer in availability
domain 2. Traffic from the load balancers is passed on to the infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) virtual machines (VMs) in
the NFT marketplace subnet and to OCM in OSN.
- NFT marketplace private subnet: Provides IaaS and interplanetary file service (IPFS) VMs in each of the availability domains.
An IPSF instance handles all file traffic and passes it on to the Liveplex API.
- Database private subnet: Provides Oracle Autonomous Database rich history database (RHDB) to store historical transactions from the blockchain's ledger. The data is accessed by Oracle
Analytics Cloud.
- Meta engine private subnet: Provides a bare metal compute GPU or a flex VM for customers that want a metaverse engine.
