The image shows a Microsoft Azure Region and an Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) Region.
The OCI Region contains:
- A customer virtual cloud network (VCN) with a dynamic routing gateway and service gateway.
- Client subnet inside the VCN.
- Backup subnet inside the VCN.
- Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated
Infrastructure between the client subnet and backup subnet.
- An Oracle Services Network containing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity
and Access Management, Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure Object Storage, and the Domain Name System (DNS) service outside the VCN.
The Microsoft Azure Region contains:
- A Microsoft Azure Service Net with Power BI, SQL Server, Snapse Analytics, Kubernetes Services, and Data Lake Analytics.
- A Customer Vnet with virtual machines and a private endpoint.
- A Security Realm which contains Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
There is an Oracle Database Service for Microsoft
Azure Control Plane with a Low Latency OCI Managed Network Link between the OCI Region and Microsoft Azure Region. The Oracle Database Service for Microsoft
Azure Control Plane connects with the OCI Region using the dynamic routing gateway, and with Microsoft Azure using the private
endpoint and SQL Server.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity
and Access Management and Azure Active Directory are connected.
