The image shows an Azure Region and OCI Region.
There are arrows connecting elements from each region:
- Users in the Azure Region use the Oracle Database for Azure Portal to communicate with the OCI Region. Azure Active Directory
is used by users in the Azure Region. Identity Federation connects Azure Active Directory.
- There is a customer subscription area in the Azure Region which contains Azure Log Analytics, Azure SQL Server, Applications,
and Azure App Insights. These customer subscription elements connect to the OCI Tenancy. The OCI Tenancy contains Base Database
Service, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Oracle Exadata Database Cloud Service. The customer subscription area and OCI tenancy
are connected by metrics, events, and database reads/writes. Customer subscription uses VNET peering to connect to Azure ExpressRoute.
- Azure ExpressRoute is connected to OCI FastConnect. Both of these elements are contained within an area called OCI Azure Interconnect
Private Tunnel. The Oracle Database Service application is running in Azure.
