This image shows how you can use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to implement event-driven applications.

A Service Hub Connector provides the interface between infrastructure events, and depending on the request, routes the message to accessible endpoints for streaming data or to functions in a private network for dynamic processing. The Service Hub Connectors also sends alerts and notifications that require immediate actions.

Application events are handled by accessible endpoints for streaming data and are then passed to functions in the private network.

Functions in the private network direct alerts and notifications to trigger immediate actions and also store processed messages in an autonomous database for further processing, storage, or analysis.

Oracle Analytics Cloud uses stored data to help visualize the data and gain insights at key stages of the event processing lifecycle.
