This image shows the database-centric alternative architecture. This is similar to the primary architecture we discussed before with a few changes.

It includes an OCI Region with an availability domain, a VCN, and two private subnets. The second private subnet in the primary architecture is removed.

• The first subnet hosts the apps and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Functions similar to the primary architecture.
• The second subnet hosts an Autonomous Database. Apps and Functions use TEQ (a built-in feature of the autonomous database) as the messaging substrate.
