This image shows an on-premises Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) environment and the architecture after migrating Oracle Business Process Management to Oracle Cloud.
The on-premises data center has a load balancer, a BPM Domain with an Admin Server and a Managed Server, and an Oracle Database. Information flows both directions between the BPM domain and the BPM database.
The Oracle Cloud Region has an availability domain and a single VCN 10.0.0.0/16. An internet gateway and a NAT gateway are provisioned for the VCN. The internet Gateway allows 2-way flow of information between the cloud and the Regional Public Subnet. The NAT Gateway allows for 2-way flow of information between the cloud and the NAT Gateway and outgoing flow from the 2 regional private subnets to the NAT Gateway.
There are for subnets, each with a security list and route table. There are two regional public subnets: the Bastion host resides in the first subnet and the load balancer resides in the second subnet. There are two regional private subnets: the BPM Cluster resides in the first regional private subnet and the VM DB System resides in the second regional private subnet.
