On-premises contains an EBS Production deployment. Within EBS Production deployment is an Applications tier and a Database.

The Oracle Cloud deployed EBS Cloud Manager connects to the the Applications Tier and the Database on the On-premises deployment.

The Applications tiers in both deployments are connected via rsync.

The Datbases in both deployments are connected via Data Guard/ZDM.
