The image shows a customer data center and OCI region.

The customer data center contains Oracle Exadata, network file system storage, VMware virtual machines, VMware vSphere, VMware vSAN & NSX, and VMware HCX.

There are arrows pointing from the customer data center to the OCI region:

The OCI region contains a virtual cloud network with two public subnets and one private subnet. The first public subnet contains Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure and an Oracle Zero Downtime Migration virtual machine. The second public subnet is an optional Bastion subnet, and contains a virtual machine. The private subnet contains OCI Bare Metal Compute nodes and VMware assets such as: VLAN vSphere, NSX Segments, virtual machines, HCX, NSX-T, vSAN, vCenter Server, and VMware vSphere. There is a service gateway within the virtual cloud network.

Outside of the virtual cloud network is an Oracle Services Network that contains OCI Object Storage.
