This image shows a sample architecture and components in an on-premises data center and anOracle Cloud Infrastructure region. The on-premises data center has a load balancer for Oracle SOA, an Oracle SOA Suite with a SOA Domain, OSB Domain, BAM Domain, and B2B Domain. Each domain has an Admin Server and a Managed Server. A SOA database resides on-premises. The on-premises load balancer has 2-way communication with Oracle SOA Suite. The SOA database has 2-way communication with Oracle SOA Suite.

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region has a VCN with an Internet Gateway and NAT Gateway to the cloud, and a route table. There's 2 way communication between the between the bastion and the Internet Gateway and between the NAT Gateway and the Internet Gateway. The region has 2 regional public subnets, one contains a bastion host and the other contains a load balancer. The region has 2 regional private subnets, one contains SOA with SB & B2B Cluster, MFT Cluster, and BAM Cluster. A separate regional private subnet contains the Oracle VM Database System. There's 2-way communication between the two regional private subnets. There's an outbound communication path from the SOA private subnet to the NAT Gateway and an outbound communication path between the database private subnet and the NAT Gateway.
