The region provides services such Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage. The Oracle Services Network also include a service tenancy with an Admin VCN for Oracle Cloud Operations using the console and REST APIs and secure shell (SSH).

the VCN provides the following gateways:

Dynamic routing gateway (DRG): Provides private connectivity between on-premises networks and VCNs by using Site-to-Site VPN or FastConnect. A DRG can also route traffic between VCNs for remote peering.
Internet gateway: Provides communications between public subnets and internet hosts.
Service gateway: VCNs communicate with services such as object storage over the Oracle network fabric without traversing the internet.

The architecture includes the following VCNs:

Client private VCN to interface with Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure and OCI services.
Backup private subnet that accesses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storageby using the service gateway and by using a static route.

Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure includes expandable database servers and a virtual machine (VM) cluster for database features and options. It also include expandable storage servers such as RoCE network servers, Fabric to storage data servers, and others.
