The image shows two OCI regions: Paris and Marseille. Both regions have the same architecture.

The regions contain a VCN with a dynamic routing gateway (DRG) and five subnets:

• Bastion subnet with Bastion.
• Application subnet with OCI Kubernetes Engine.
• Caching layer subnet with OCI Cache with Valkey.
• Database subnet with OCI Database with PostgreSQL.
• Logging subnet with OCI Search with OpenSearch.

OCI Bastion connects to OCI Kubernetes Engine, which connects to each of OCI Cache with Valkey, OCI Database with PostgreSQL, and OCI Search with OpenSearch.

The Paris region's DRG connects to the Marseille region's DRG. Cross-region replication connects each of OCI Database with PostgreSQL and OCI Search with OpenSearch between regions.
