The image shows internet users using DNS to access a primary data center and a standby data center. Both data centers are mirrored.
The data centers contain a JSON workload network with a public subnet and a private subnet. The private subnet contains the workload, while the public subnet contains a load balancer.
Oracle Database Appliance is deployed within the JSON workload network, and contains back-end tier virtual machines and Oracle Database. The backend-tier VMs contain application servers with Oracle REST Data Services installed on each server. The application servers connect to Oracle Database.
Oracle Database performs backup and restore operations to an network file storage (NFS) mount target in the private subnet. Backup replication is used between the NFS mount targets.
