This image shows how Terraform code that originates on customer premises equipment is stored in external repositories, then managed in a central Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and then deployed in a second OCI region for development (dev), quality assurance (QA), staging, and production.

The external repositories shown include Bitbucket, GitLab, and GitHub.

The central region contains a single virtual cloud network (VCN). Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Resource Manager:
  • Imports the Terraform stack
  • Manages the deployment plan
  • Stores Terraform state information in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Registry and metadata such as YAML files in theOCI Artifacts Registry

Oracle Services Network provides Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Logging and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Notifications to alert and notify you of the progress of provisioning the infrastructure deployment.
