The image shows a multicloud deployment with Oracle E-Business Suite on Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) and Azure Synapse Analytics on Microsoft Azure. The On-Premises
Customer Data Center connects to both clouds through Site-to-Site VPN and a DRG on OCI
and a VPN Gateway on Azure. Oracle Interconnect for Azure connects services in an OCI
private subnet to the VNet network in Azure.
The OCI Region has one Availability Domain, an OCI Web Application
FireSite-to-Sitewall (WAF), Internet Gateway, Dynamic Routing Gateway (DRG), and Service
Gateway (SG). The following services are in the Oracle Services Network within the
Region: OCI Object Storage, Data Safe, Auditing, Logging, Policies, IAM.
The VCN has the following subnets:
- Public Subnet: Contains the Bastion Service and Load Balancer. The Load Balancer
is connected to a WAF and Internet Gateway. The Public Subnet is connected to
the DRG, which links to the On-Premises Customer Data Center through a
Site-to-Site VPN.
- Private Subnet: Contains E-Business Suite, E-Business Suite app, and E-Business
Suite Cloud Manager.
- Private Subnet: Contains E-Business Suite Database.
- Private Subnet: Contains GoldenGate and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. The
subnet has a dedicated DRG and SG. The E-Business Suite Database in the previous
subnet is connected to GoldenGate, GoldenGate connects to the Oracle Autonomous
Data Warehouse. Information flows through the DRG to the Oracle Interconnect for
Azure, which contains OCI FastConnect and Azure ExpressRoute.
The Azure cloud Region has Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender, and Azure monitor
dashboard. It also includes the following VNets, which are connected to each other:
- VNet-network: Contains Integration runtime 1 and Integration
runtime n. This VNet has a VPN Gateway which connects to the On-Premises
Customer Data Center through Site-to-Site VPN. It also has a Virtual Network
with connects to the Oracle Interconnect for Azure.
- VNet-analytics: Contains Synapse and Data Lake
