This image shows an overview of the NetFoundry private, zero-trust, SDN fabric using AppWANs to connect any on-premises or cloud-hosted resources to any other any on-premises or cloud-hosted resources.
Fabric routers in the zero-trust SDN fabric connect the following types of resource:
- A Controller/Platform manages the SDN fabric.
- Users, admins, and devices with least privileged access connect to the SDN fabric as NetFoundry endpoints through multiple AppWANs.
- Public Cloud/Hosting Provider: Virtual machines with NetFoundry endpoints in one or more LAN/VLANs are connected to the SDN fabric by using edge routers and an AppWAN.
- Corporate Data Center: Virtual machines with NetFoundry endpoints in one or more LAN/VLANs are connected to the SDN fabric by using edge routers and an AppWAN.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: Virtual machines with NetFoundry endpoints or Autonomous Data Warehouses with private endpoints in one or more VCNs are connected to the SDN fabric by using edge routers and an AppWAN.
- Branches/Edges: Virtual machines with NetFoundry endpoints in one or more LAN/VLANs or using Oracle Roving Edge Infrastructure are connected to the SDN fabric by using edge routers and an AppWAN.
