This image shows external installations connecting to a single Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region and tenancy with three availability domains. The region provides identity and access management, auditing, monitoring, and Cloud Guard security for the region.

• External Installations: Includes the following:
  • A customer data center
  • Users, admins, and devices with least privileged access
  • Private and public clouds
  All external installations access Oracle Cloud Infrastructure through a NetFoundry SDN Network and an internet gateway into a single virtual cloud network (VCN).
• VCN: Provides a single private subnet, and an internet gateway for external traffic.
• Private subnet: Provides security list access and an OCI Kubernetes Engine node in each of the availability domains. Each node hosts a kubelet, proxy, pod, container and a pod network.
