The image shows an on-premises customer region with SQL server and applications connecting via a site-to-site VPN to an NAT gateway in an Oracle region.

The Oracle region contains Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning and a VCN containing the NAT gateway, OCI Object Storage, an availability domain spanning two private subnets (A and B). Private subnet A contains an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse and OCI GoldenGate. Private subnet B contains OCI Data Integration and Oracle Integration.

A flat files business outside of the Oracle region sends data to OCI Object Storage. Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning also sends data to OCI Object Storage via BICC. OCI Object Storage can be accessed by both OCI Data Integration and Oracle Integration, which connects to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse to load the transformed data. The customer on-premises region also connects to OCI Data Integration. After Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, connections continue to OCI GoldenGate, then to an Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure using OCI FastConnect and Azure ExpressRoute. Finally, reaching a Microsoft Azure region containing a VNet with a Gateway, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake Storage.
