This image shows an Azure region and an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) region. The Azure and OCI regions communicate by using Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure.
The Azure region includes a single virtual network (VNet) which provides Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics services. The VNet provides a private subnet that includes a private endpoint connection and an Oracle Integration connectivity agent. The VNet also includes a delegated subnet that contains Oracle Database@Azure and is part of the Oracle-managed network. Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Oracle Database@Azure all provide input to Oracle Integration and OCI Functions in the OCI region.
The OCI Region contains a single availability domain and a single virtual cloud network (VCN). Regional services include Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI, Oracle Integration, OCI Functions, and Oracle Analytics Cloud. The VCN includes an application subnet and a database subnet.
The application subnet includes a chat bot and apps in containers which communicate with the regional services.
The database subnet provides Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai, which communicates with regional services and with Oracle Analytics Cloud.
