This image shows a process flow. The process steps are described in the surrounding text.
The basic architecture is described below.
The architecture includes an on-premises customer network, an Azure region,
and an Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) region. The Azure and OCI regions communicate by using Oracle Interconnect for Microsoft Azure, which combines Azure ExpressRoute and Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure FastConnect.
- Customer Network: Includes the users who interact with the system and a local
document repository.
- Azure Region: Includes a single virtual network (VNet) which provides Data Lake
Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, a gateway, and a delegated subnet which contains
Oracle Database@Azure.
- OCI Region: Contains a single availability domain. Regional services include Oracle Digital Assistant and Oracle Fusion Cloud
Enterprise Resource Planning. The availability domain includes Oracle Integration, OCI Object Storage, OCI Functions, Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai, and OCI GenAI Agents, which provide embedding, chat, and large language models (LLM).
