The image shows an Azure region, an OCI region, and an on-premises data center.

The Azure region contains an Azure Virtual Network (VNet) with an application subnet containing applications, and a VCN that spans into the OCI region via an OCI managed network and a local peering gateway, and which contains Oracle Database@Azure running Oracle Exadata Database Service or Oracle Autonomous Database Serverless. Connections are bi-directional between applications and Oracle Database@Azure; and Oracle Database@Azure and the local peering gateway.

In the OCI region, the local peering gateway has a bi-directional connection to another local peering gateway located in a HUB VCN, which also contains Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure GoldenGate private endpoint and an on-premises database GoldenGate private endpoint, as well as a service gateway and a dynamic routing gateway with a bi-directional connection to a database in the on-premises data center using a site-to-site VPN or OCI FastConnect.

The OCI region also contains OCI managed services with OCI GoldenGate.

The on-premises data center contains users, a data center, and applications with a bi-directional connection to a database.
