The image shows three different OCI regions in Frankfurt, Singapore, and Brazil. Outside of the OCI regions, users are using the internet to access their closest geographic OCI region.
- Frankfurt: This region contains three availability domains. There are three virtual cloud networks spanning all three availability domains: a production app development environment, a front end environment, and a database environment. The Oracle Blockchain platform spans all three availability domains. Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP), Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Analytics Cloud resides in availability domain 1, 2, and 3 respectively.
- Singapore and Brazil: These regions are identical. Each region contains a fault domain with a front end VCN comprised of Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and ATP. The fault domains also contain a development VCN, containing the Oracle Blockchain platform.
There is a third-party section where orders and emails are processed through a third-party platform. The traffic from the third-party platform interacts with a network address translation gateway, to interact with the OCI regions.
There is a list of other Oracle services used in the architecture which includes: IDCS, Compartments, Email Delivery, IAM, Logging, Monitoring, Object Storage, Notifications, Cloud Guard, and Policies.
