The image shows an on-premises region, an Azure region, and an OCI region.

The on-premises region contains an on-premises network containing a gateway subnet with a virtual network gateway, a database subnet with Oracle Database, and an application subnet with a ZDM service host.

The Azure region contains a hub VNet containing a gateway subnet with a virtual network gateway and an NVA subnet with NVA; and a database VNet containing a delegated subnet with VNIC. The hub VNet and database VNet connect via VNet peering.

The virtual network gateway in the on-premises region has a bi-direction connection to the virtual network gateway in the Azure region via Azure ExpressRoute.

A database VCN spans from the Azure region to the OCI region, and contains a client subnet and a backup subnet, across which spans an Oracle Database@Azure service. It contains the Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure residing in the Azure region.

The VNIC in the Azure region has a bi-directional connection to the Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure.

The OCI region also contains OCI managed services and OCI Object Storage. Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure is automatically backed up to Oracle Database Autonomous Recovery Service.
