The image shows an on-premises environment and OCI region. There are numbered arrows within the diagram that are explained in the text below the diagram.
Within the on-premises environment is Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud agent using customer premises equipment and OCI FastConnectto connect to a dynamic routing gateway in the OCI region virtual cloud network (VCN).
The VCN contains a private transit subnet, private service subnet, and private database subnet. The database subnet contains OracleAutonomous Transaction Processing, Oracle APEX, and step 6. The service subnet contains two private endpoints, and step 5. The transit subnet contains step 5 and connects to a service gateway which facilitates communication to an Oracle Services Network.
The Oracle Services Network contains Oracle Integration Cloud Service which sends requests to OCI Document Understanding and OCI Object Storage (steps 2 and 3). Requests come from the private endpoint from the VCN to Oracle Analytics Cloud within the Oracle Services Network. There is another Oracle Services Network which contains OCI Identity and Access Management, Policies, OCI Logging, and OCI Audit.
There is an internet region outside of the OCI region with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Outlook, Google Gmail, and Manual verification (all connect to Oracle Integration Cloud Service). Microsoft Outlook and Google Gmail connect via step 1. Salesforce, SAP, and Workday connect via step 5. While Manual verification connects via step 4.
Oracle SaaS outside of the OCI region contains Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, and Oracle CX. Oracle SaaS connects to Oracle Integration Cloud Service via step 5.
