The image shows the workflow and target personas.
There are three personas, Plant Manager, Process Engineer, and Data
Scientist, that are responsible for the following:
- Plant Manager: Plant Throughput, Operational Efficiency, and Operations Oversight
- Process Engineer: Functional Test (Parameter Correlation), Analyze Production and Operational Outliers, and Evaluate Process Parameters
- Data Scientist: ML Model (Train, Test, Deploy), Evaluate Production & Operational Anomalies, and Operation Trend/Issues Analysis
The data flows as follows:
- Data collected from a variety of sources, including Manufacturing
Execution System (MES), Data Historian, and Enterprise Applications flows to Oracle Autonomous Database.
- Data flows from Oracle Autonomous Database to Oracle Analytics Cloud. Plant Managers and Process Engineers use the information.
- Data flows from Oracle Autonomous Database to Oracle Machine Learning. Data Scientists use the information.
- Data flows from Oracle Autonomous Database to the Lake Accelerator.
- Data collected from Plant Sensors, and Refractory Data flows to OCI
Lakehouse.
- Data flows from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Lakehousee to Oracle Autonomous Database. Process Engineers use the information.
- Data flows from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Lakehouse to Oracle Big Data Service, and from there to Oracle Analytics Cloud and Lake Accelerator. Plant Managers and Process Engineers use the information.
- Data flows from OCI Lakehouse to OCI Data Science. Data Scientists use the information.
- Data flows from OCI Lakehouse to the Lake Accelerator.
