This image shows a hybrid disaster recovery environment where the primary SOA hosts, database hosts, and databases are on-premises.

The following are located in the on-premises data center:

• Load balancer (10.10.10.10)
• WebHost1 (10.10.10.11) and WebHost2 (10.10.10.12)
• Oracle SOA Suite with SOAHost1 (10.10.10.13) and SOAHost2 (10.10.10.14)
• Oracle RAC with DBHost1 (10.10.10.15) and DBHost2 (10.10.10.16) and PDB1
• Customer on-premises equipment (CPE) with a FastConnect connection to the DRG in the cloud VCN

Data flows both directions between SOAHOST1 and SOAHOST2. Data Flows both directions between DBHost1 and DBHost2.

• A DNS uses port 443 and https to connect the primary and secondary environments.
• Data Guard uses Port 1521 (SQL*NET) to connect the primary PDB database with the secondary PDB.
• Port 22 and https connects the primary and secondary SOA hosts.
• The secondary Load Balancer uses ports 443 (HTTPS), 7001 (HTTP Console), and 8888 (HTTP internal wsm) on the web tier. Content flows from the Load Balancer to the SOA Host in the mid-tier using ports 7001, 7010, 8001, 8011, and 8021.
• A two-way connection uses NFS to link the mid-tier with the FSS tier.
• The secondary SOA Hosts in the mid-tier use ports 1521 (SQL*NET) and 6200 (ONS) to connect to the db-tier.
