Description of the illustration ebiz-architecture.png
This is an image of the hybrid architectural approach to an on-premises integration between Oracle Access Manager and E-Business Suite.
This image uses standard icons, which are grouped into three individual boxes. Some icons in the individual boxes are interconnected with those in other boxes by numbered arrows. Other icons are interconnected within an individual box. The number respresent both the provisioning and federation flow, as described in the surrounding text.
- First, is a box labeled Azure Data Center. Within this box a user icon is connected to an Azure icon within the same box by a double-headed arrow (to indicate transactional activity) number "6" and labeled SAML Token. The user icon is also connected by two double-headed arrows, numbered "4" and "9", to a single server icon representing Oracle E-Business Suite, OAM AccessGate, Oracle HTTP Server, and OAM WebGate.
- This first box is connected to an adjacent box, labeled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, by a double-headed arrow, which extends from the single server icon representing Oracle E-Business Suite, OAM AccessGate, Oracle HTTP Server, and OAM WebGate to a database icon labeled Oracle E-Business Suite Database.
- Beneath both the aforementioned boxes is a third box labeled On-Premises Data Center. Within this box, are three icons: a server icon labeled Oracle Access Manager (SP), which is interconnected by a double-headed arrow numbered "8" to another server icon overlayed with a display icon. These combined icons are labeled Oracle Unified Directory or Oracle Internet Directory. This icon is interconnected by a double-headed arrow numbered "2" and labeled "User Account Syncronized includes u i d and o r c l g u i d" to a cloud icon labeled Oracle Directory Integration Platform.
This box contains four sets of double-headed arrows that connect it to the two boxes above:
- A double-headed arrow, numbered "3", connects to the Oracle E-Business Suite icon and includes the legend "User accounts insert "u i d" to USER_NAME and o r c l g u i d to USER_GUID plus other attributes".
- A double-headed arrow, numbered "1",connects the server icon overlayed with a display icon with the Azure icon in the first referenced box. This arrow is labeled "User account provisioned with U P N".
- A double-headed arrow, numbered "7", connects the Oracle Access Manager (SP) server icon to the User icon. This arrow is labeled "O A M AuthCookie Token".
- A double-headed arrow, numbered "5", connects the Oracle Access Manager (SP) server icon to the server icon representing Oracle E-Business Suite, OAM AccessGate, Oracle HTTP Server, and OAM WebGate.
