Create a Non-Gallery Application

Administrators can configure single sign-on for PeopleSoft applications missing in the Microsoft Azure identity platform application gallery without writing any code. Instructions in this section will show how you can add links to any application in Azure AD.

  1. In the Azure portal, select Azure Active Directory on the left navigation pane.
  2. Select Enterprise applications in Azure Active Directory.
  3. Select New Application.
  4. Click Non-gallery application.
  5. Select your application to configure single sign-on and under Manage, navigate to Single sign-on on the left pane.
  6. Select Linked as the single sign-on method.
  7. In the Configure Sign-on URL field, enter the URL of the PeopleSoft application home page and save.
  8. In the application properties, verify that User assignment required? and Visible to users? are set to Yes.
  9. Create users, groups, and group memberships in Azure.
  10. Assign group-based access to each application in Azure AD. You can create PeopleSoft-users and assign users to the PeopleSoft application.
  11. After the PeopleSoft application is configured in Azure AD, you can configure conditional access policies in Azure AD to enhance sign-on security.
