Set Up OCI Connector Hub

OCI Connector Hub is used to transfer data to OCI Streaming, which is consumed by LogRhythm Kafka Beat. Using OCI Connector Hub, we can move logging data to OCI Streaming where OCI Logging is the source and OCI Streaming is the target.

To set up OCI Connector Hub:

  1. Navigate to the OCI console, and click Connectors.
  2. Click Create Connector.
  3. Enter a Name for the new connector.
  4. Select the Compartment to store the connector.
  5. In the Configure connector section, under Source, select Logging.
  6. In Target, select the OCI Streaming service to transfer the log data.
  7. In Configure source connection, select the compartment name to root and log group (Audit).
You can also send all OCI logs including audit, service, and custom logs.
  8. Under Configure Target, configure the stream for which to send log data.
    • Compartment: Select the compartment which contains the stream.
    • Stream: Select the name of the stream for which you want to send data.
  9. Click Create.
