This image shows a multicloud network with Amazon (AWS) and an Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI) region in Montreal.
Each cloud instance provides an internet gateway for following Internet users and peer
clients, with two-way communication to and from AWS and OCI:
- Primary Contractor Peer Client A
- Engineering and Design Peer Client B
- Construction Contractor Peer Client C
- Suppliers Peer Client D
- Other Participant Peer Client X
AWS includes PACE OS Application and PACE OS Custom Integration Tool. The
internet gateway provides private connectivity between users on the internet and the
PACE OS Application. Two-way communication occurs between the PACE OS Application and
the PACE OS Custom Integration Tool.
OCI Region - Montreal has an availability domain with three fault domains.
An Oracle Blockchain
Platform instance spans all three fault domains.
The Montreal region provides 1 virtual cloud network (VCN) with the following
gateways:
- Internet gateway: Provides private connectivity between users on the
internet and the REST API in the Oracle Blockchain
Platform.
- Service gateway: VCNs communicate with the following services in the
Oracle Services Network over the Oracle network fabric without traversing the
internet:
- Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure Policies
- Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure Logging
- Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure Object Storage
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity
and Access Management
The Oracle Blockchain
Platform instance on OCI includes a REST API, REST Proxy and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events. The Oracle Blockchain
Platform network contains the following:
- Peer A: Peer A connects to each of the peers (Peer B, Peer C, Peer D,
and Peer X)
- Peer B: Peer B connects to Peer A, Peer D, and Peer X
- Peer C: Peer C connects to Peer A, Peer D, and Peer X
- Peer D: Peer D connects to each of the peers (Peer B, Peer C, Peer A,
and Peer X)
- Peer X: Peer X connects to each of the peers (Peer A, Peer B, Peer C,
and Peer D)
In the OCI Region, information flows as follows:
- From the users on the internet, through the OCI internet gateway to the REST
API, then to the REST Proxy, and then to the peers in the blockchain
network.
- From the PACE OS Custom Integration Tool in AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events in the Oracle Blockchain
Platform instance, and then to the peers in the blockchain network.
Two-way communication occurs between the PACE OS Custom Integration Tool in AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events in the Oracle Blockchain
Platform instance on OCI. Two-way communication also occurs between the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Events and REST Proxy on OCI.
