Configure Linux

Configure Linux to prepare the server for the STA installation. If the Linux environment is not properly setup, the STA installation will fail.

Perform the following in order:

• Verify the root User Path
• Enable the Linux Firewall iptables
• Disable SELinux
• Remove SELinux Permissions
• Set Up the Network Proxy
• Setup yum (optional)
• Install Required Linux Packages
• Setup SSH
• Configure DNS Settings
• Disable Name Services
• Ensure Local Browser Functionality (optional)
