Retrieve and Download Drive Dumps
Retrieve dumps from the drive to transfer them to the library. Once retrieved, you can download the dump files to your workstation.
The Drive Dump dialog only displays dumps that have been previously
transferred to the library. To collect the most recent dumps from the drive, you must
retrieve the current drive dumps. You can only retrieve and transfer drive dumps for
T10000 and IBM LTO drives. HP LTO drives dump transfer is not supported.
- From the Drives table or Library cell map, select a T10000 or IBM LTO drive.
- From the Actions drop-down (or right-click menu), select Drive dumps...
- Click Retrieve drive dump
. - Select files in the table, and then click Download
.
