Scheduling Cloud Backups
Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance supports cloud backups of shares from the appliance to a cloud target. You can configure cloud backups to be run on a schedule. Whenever a backup is scheduled, a system-created snapshot is taken and used for the backup process. Existing system snapshots are kept if needed for future incremental backups, eliminating the need to manually manage snapshots.
